Dr. A. R. Rajagopalan holds a Ph.D. in Management with a specialisation in Organisational Behaviour. With over 37 years of teaching experience, including more than 18 years of international academic experience, he is deeply committed to nurturing and developing the leaders of tomorrow.
His teaching expertise spans a wide range of management disciplines, including Organisational Behaviour, Business Strategy, International Business, International Human Resource Management (IHRM), Talent Management, Consumer Behaviour, and other contemporary management subjects.
Throughout his distinguished career, Dr. Rajagopalan has lived and worked in Ethiopia, Zimbabwe, Malaysia, Dubai, and Singapore, gaining valuable global exposure that enriches his teaching and research. He also serves as a visiting faculty member in FH - Joanneum, Kapfenberg Campus, Austria, where he regularly delivers lectures on Business Strategy, International Management, and International Human Resource Management.
A strong advocate of experiential learning, Dr. Rajagopalan believes that management concepts are most effective when applied to real-world business situations. His teaching philosophy emphasises practical application, critical thinking, and contextual decision-making, recognising that while standard management frameworks provide valuable guidance, successful leadership requires adaptability to diverse organisational and cultural contexts.
