Dr. B. Shanmuga Priya is a distinguished academician, researcher, and Business Administration coach with over two decades of experience in marketing, teaching, research, and mentoring. She has mentored more than 3,500 undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral students, contributing significantly to management education and academic excellence.

Before joining Xavier Institute of Management & Entrepreneurship (XIME), Chennai, she served as an Assistant Professor (Senior Grade) at the Symbiosis Centre for Management Studies, Bengaluru, under Symbiosis International (Deemed University), Pune. She is also an approved Research Supervisor in Management.

Dr. Shanmuga Priya has received nine prestigious academic and professional awards, including the Young Scientist Fellowship Award from the Tamil Nadu State Council for Science and Technology. She was twice recognised with the Best Mentor Award by IIT Madras for her contributions to the NPTEL online certification programme. She has successfully completed an AICTE-funded research project under the Research Promotion Scheme (Management) and has qualified the UGC-NET (Lectureship) in Management.

Her expertise includes marketing, leadership, research, accreditation, mentoring, and digital transformation in education. She is the author of Agile Command: Strategic Leadership in a Rapid World and has published 23 research papers in reputed journals indexed in Scopus, Web of Science, IEEE, UGC-CARE, and ABDC. She has also delivered keynote addresses, chaired international conferences, and served as an International Shadow Faculty at the Milwaukee School of Engineering, Rader School of Business, USA.

At XIME Chennai, she serves as a Senior Assistant Professor, contributing to teaching, research, quality assurance, and institutional development while mentoring future management professionals.
