Dr. S. Ramesh Kumar, Master in Information Science, PhD (Management). With two decades in the software industry – TCS, HCL, Mahindra Satyam, and Larsen & Toubro - Dr S.Ramesh Kumar has navigated multiple waves of technological transformation, from early enterprise systems on mainframes to today’s AI-driven architectures. Building on this experience, his PhD research in the theory of contracts, reputations, and technological change provides a rigorous analytical foundation for understanding incentives, governance, technological characteristics, and strategic behaviour in complex organisations. He applies these insights to real-world challenges in business strategy where contract design, technology, and reputation mechanisms shape performance outcomes. He is a member of the Strategic Management Society (SMS, Chicago) and the American Economic Association. He has publications in ABDC journals, including one in an A* category journal. He is a reviewer of paper proposals for the Annual Conferences of the Strategic Management Society.
