Dr. A. Uma Maheswari is an accomplished academician, psychologist, and researcher with years of experience in higher education, academic leadership, and student development. She holds a Ph.D. in Psychology, an MBA in Systems Management, and multiple postgraduate qualifications in psychology, counselling, labour law, and public relations. A UGC-NET (Psychology & Management) and TNSET (Psychology) qualified scholar, she has served as Head of the Department of Psychology in reputed institutions and has manifested leadership in managerial roles within private organizations. She has an extensive portfolio of peer-reviewed publications, has presented at numerous national and international conferences, and is an active reviewer for leading journals published by Elsevier. Her expertise spans curriculum design, faculty mentoring, academic administration, and technology-enabled pedagogy, with a strong commitment to student well-being, interdisciplinary scholarship, and innovative teaching practices.
